Metro Music Conference February 8-10

Amidst the snow and dreary weather, Baptist Music Ministers from across the U.S. gathered in Little Rock the week of February 8th for their annual Metro Music Conference. Simply the Best Catering hosted their lunch on Monday and Wednesday.

The menu for Monday included a Fresh Chopped Salad of Crispy Greens, Monterey Jack Cheese, Tomato, Shredded Carrots, Black Olives, Cornbread Croutons and fresh Herb Vinaigrette

Followed by a Grilled Airline Chicken Breast, Sorghum Brined Pork Roast, Creamy Butter & Sour Cream Whipped Potatoes and Sourdough Dinner Rolls

Sticky Toffee Pudding Pyramid for dessert before touring the World of the Pharaohs Exhibit

On Wednesday, a ray of sunshine despite the dreary weather with a BBQ Luncheon

Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Pulled Beef & Pork, Smoked Chicken and Brisket with Fried Pies to top it off!

Rockwell-Bourdo Wedding Reception 2.6.10

The Rockwell-Bourdo wedding ceremony was held at St. Edward Catholic Church, and the reception followed immediately after at the Women's City Club. The bride and groom worked with some of our favorite vendors! Joe Snell (Central Arkansas Entertainment) was the DJ, Mickey's furnished the bride and groom's cakes, Little Black Dress Brigade (Ari) provided the flower arrangements, and Sara Waller (with Crystal Goss) was the photographer.
